This page contains information on Veterans Administration Mortgages. Click for
information on Virginia mortgages.
The VA mortgage is available to Active Duty Military, Veterans
and Reservists. The VA
home loan program gives you the ability to buy with
no out of pocket cost. We are also able to
pay off some consumer debt with the loan program as well. The loan
maximum is $240,000 including the VA imposed Funding Fee. As the VA program
requires no mortgage insurance, monthly payments are frequently less than any
other no down payment loan. If you have
a high interest rate VA loan, there is a low cost Interest Rate Reduction
Loan (IRRL) program which allows you to refinance and lower your mortgage payment inexpensively.
I have included some specific qualification guidelines for VA loan
participation.
I have a page describing the VA IRRL (Interest Rate
Reduction Loan) program.
I have included information on the various VA
Funding Fees as well.
For more information on your entitlement, please see the VA Entitlement page.
I have provided a link to the Veterans Administration program
description and FAQs here.
I have included a page on how to calculate your qualification ratios
