No Seasoning Refinance is currently unavailableObtaining a new mortgage on a property you have owned for less than 6 months is described as a no seasoning refinance and can be a daunting task but it can be done using several different loan types. At issue is the fact that neither Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac will buy a mortgage on a property which has been owned for less than 6 months so good old vanilla conventional loans will not be available to you. To make matters worse, many conventional lenders will have their own underwriting guidelin requiring one full year of seasoning for the existing mortgage. |
